DIRECTOR
The eight finalist 10-minute plays written by our School of Music, Theatre, and Dance students and alumni will be presented as rehearsed staged readings directed, performed, and stage managed by current students, with dramaturgy provided by their peers.

The presentations of the 2024 Annual "NPI Festival" will be followed by a 15-minute panel with the playwrights, moderated by the dramaturgs; a short inspirational speech by our Distinguished Playwright Judge James Scruggs; the Awards Ceremony (Golden Egg Awards and Silver Egg Award); and a reception in the McHenry Lobby of the Whalen Center.
Nicholas Vladimir Ismailoff had the privilege to direct the play written by Cami Weldon titled "I Dont Think Ive Ever Told You My Name." The staged reading was award with high honors and received an egg award.

The theatre accomplishes its goals as it continues to provide this region’s residents and visitors a source of enrichment and enjoyment in the cultural arts. FLCT provides opportunities for young people to participate regardless of economic, cultural or ethnic backgrounds. Each year, over 25,000 children and adults are impacted by FLCT’s programming.
(FLCT), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, is an educational center for theatre arts serving children and families across South Florida. The oldest documented children’s theatre in the state of Florida, FLCT was founded in 1952 by two mothers in a garage and was later incorporated in 1959.
